Every year, we eagerly await this moment. The pools are already being filled, the lawn is shining green, and soon everything will be ready for swimming at Parkfürdő!
To celebrate the opening, from June 3 to June 5, entry will once again be free for our guests under 10 years old. Children’s ID cards must be presented at the cashier to verify their age, so please bring them along. On the opening weekend, we will also offer free children’s activities and a puppet show, and on Saturday, from 2 PM to 5 PM, we will provide free rheumatology consultations for visitors!
We are especially pleased to share the good news that, according to current regulations, the baths can be visited without a protection certificate, and there is no need to present a negative PCR or rapid test, nor is wearing a mask mandatory! Swimming is considered a fundamentally safe activity in terms of the coronavirus pandemic, as the risk of infection is very low, given that the chlorine used in disinfecting the pool water damages the virus's outer shell, and the virus dies within a short time. Additionally, the fill-and-drain system in our pools operates a disinfection system that does not harm the beneficial components of the healing water but destroys viruses, infectious agents, and thus the coronavirus as well.
From mid-June, we will offer free aqua aerobics, aqua zumba, and children’s activities. Furthermore, there will be night swimming every Wednesday and Friday from 9 PM, with entry possible through the courtyard of Hotel Barbizon for the nighttime swimming program.
