Information note on fire protection
• Fire or its imminent danger must be reported immediately by those in the vicinity of the fire to the fire brigade and the reception desk.
• The fire alert can be performed automatically by the fire alarm, using manual signalling devices, as well as landline and mobile phones.
• A fire alert can be given by telephone at the following numbers:
o Telephone number of the fire brigade: 105
o International emergency number: 112
• A fire alert given by telephone must include:
o The location of the fire?
o What is under fire? The extent of the fire? (e.g. equipment items, electrical cabinet, etc.).
o Is fire endangering human life?
o The name and callable telephone number of the person giving the signal.
• It is only allowed to open the door of a burning, closed room, and to approach a fire in an enclosed space by carefully opening the door and window, due to the danger of a blazing flame.
• All guests are obliged to leave the endangered area immediately.
• The building must be left at the nearest exit following the designated traffic route.
• Leaving the building must be carried out according to the site plan following the safety signs.
• Do not use the elevator in case of fire!
• When escaping, use a wet towel to protect your exposed body parts and prevent smoke from being inhaled.
• If the room is saturated with smoke, bend down and use the lower air layer.
• In the event that your exit from the building is not considered safe, please remain indoors, seal the doorways with a damp cloth and let the persons staying outside know your whereabouts.
• The assembly point is in the park next to the building. Please inform rescuers of missing or trapped people in the building.
• Fire extinguishers located on site and, after de-energization, a jet of water from the hydrant mounted on the wall can be used to extinguish the fire.
