HOUSE RULES
Dear Guests!
Please be informed that you are required to adhere to the house rules detailed below when using the services!
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that by paying for the service, purchasing a ticket, season pass (using a coupon or voucher), and entering the premises of the bathing area, you accept all points of our house rules and commit to complying with them.
Failure to be aware of the house rules does not exempt you from complying with their content!
Sóstó - Gyógyfürdők Zrt. will not be held liable for damages or accidents resulting from a breach of the house rules.
1. All facilities of the Lake Bath can be used at your own risk!
2. An electronic surveillance system operates on the premises of the Lake Bath, the presence of which the guest acknowledges by paying the fee for the chosen service.
3. Entry to the Lake Bath is only possible with a valid ticket or season pass. Discounts can only be granted upon presentation of a valid identification card that entitles you to the discount, such as a residence card, student card, pensioner's card, or any other card/season pass issued by our company. The right of entry is only valid on the day of purchase and allows for a single entry!
3/1: It is mandatory to keep the receipt or invoice received upon purchasing the ticket until all guests who entered with the purchased tickets have left the premises of the Lake Bath! The operator Sóstó - Gyógyfürdők Zrt., its employees, and the security service team have the right to check the legitimacy of using the service at any time. During the inspection, you must present the invoice or receipt proving the purchase of the ticket.
3/2: The price list in front of the cashiers provides information about the current prices, service fees, and opening hours. The cashier closes one hour before the Lake Bath closes.
3/3: In justified cases (technical malfunction, bad weather conditions, exceptional contamination, etc.), Sóstó-Gyógyfürdők Zrt. may modify the operating hours. Information is provided by the staff and via loudspeaker. In such cases, guests are not entitled to compensation. In exceptional cases, the service provider may suspend services or part of them, and no refund is possible for started services. A reduction in the fee for limited services cannot be requested.
4. Currency exchange is not possible at our cashiers!
5. Please notify us in advance if you need an invoice, as we cannot issue it retrospectively!
6. All objects owned by Sóstó - Gyógyfürdők Zrt. must be used appropriately by our guests! In case of intentional damage or damage resulting from improper behavior, the right to compensation is reserved by our company.
7. Smoking is prohibited throughout the entire area of the Lake Bath! Exceptions are designated smoking areas outside the premises and 10 meters from the entrances.
8. Children under the age of 14 may enter the Lake Bath area only with parental or adult supervision. Children under the age of 14 can use the services of Sóstó- Gyógyfürdők Zrt., slides, playground equipment, pools, and the lake surface under parental supervision or the responsibility of a constant adult supervisor.
8/1: In the case of group activities, education, camps, or any other event organized for children under the age of 18 within the Lake Bath area, the organizer assumes full responsibility for the participants and provides adult supervision within the framework of their organized program.
9. The use of therapeutic pools is contraindicated for serious heart and circulatory diseases, incontinence, malignant tumors, acute inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, thrombosis, severe varicose veins, pregnancy, and any skin condition – regardless of the extent – that does not allow for community bathing from a public health perspective. The use of therapeutic pools is also not recommended for children under the age of 14!
10. The Lake Bath cannot be used by people with open wounds, fever, contagious diseases, or under the influence of drugs, intoxicants, or alcohol; they may be excluded from using the bath. In such cases, they are not entitled to compensation.
11. The use of therapeutic pools is generally based on medical advice; in other cases, the recommended duration is 20 minutes.
12. Notices, pictograms, and signs draw attention to the proper use of our slides, which must be adhered to. In case of accidents resulting from misuse, the responsibility lies with the accompanying person for children or with the user for adult guests. Wearing jewelry or a watch is dangerous and prohibited!
13. All bathers must adhere to the instructions and guidelines of the employees of Sóstó- Gyógyfürdők Zrt., lifeguards, and employees of the security service contracted by the company.
14. To comply with public health and authority regulations, ensure the tranquility and undisturbed relaxation of our guests, and prevent accidents, the following are PROHIBITED:
a) Bringing animals into the bathing area. Exceptions are guide dogs, or guard dogs directed by security personnel or the police.
b) Eating or consuming alcoholic beverages in the changing rooms, pool areas, and pools.
c) Walking in the pool and relaxation areas in street clothes, shoes, or bringing any items used outdoors.
d) Using the pools without a thorough shower and footwash.
e) Non-toilet-trained children bathing without swim diapers. Non-toilet-trained children, even with swim diapers designed for this purpose, are not allowed in other pools, they can only use the pools designated for children.
f) Epileptic patients using the pool without a companion/supervisor.
g) Polluting the pool water, using cleaning products, chemicals, jumping into the water from unauthorized locations, playing ball, making noise, or entering the pool with special diapers or pads worn for defecation, urination retention issues.
h) Bringing breakable or dangerous objects (glass, wine bottles, beer bottles, etc.) into the lake or pools, or any other item, tool that may cause injury.
i) Wearing attire in the pools that do not comply with public health, water quality, or safety standards. Therefore, pools should be used in swimwear designed for bathing, covering the lower body to the knee and the upper body to the shoulder. Exceptions are beachwear expressly designed for UV-protection, which may cover more of the body but is suitable for bathing. The use of knee pants, short-sleeved T-shirts, denim shorts, shirts, underwear (generally streetwear, or casual wear) is strictly prohibited, and those wearing such are immediately excluded from the use of the bath area and bathing without compensation!
j) Wearing footwear of any kind in the pools. Including aquatic shoes, sandals, slippers, etc.
k) Non-swimmers using the lake surface.
l) Adults remaining in the children's pools in sitting or lying positions. For hygiene reasons, only a standing position is permitted for adults in the children's pools.
m) Behaving in a manner that offends public morality and societal norms. These include:
1. Making vulgar, rude comments, shouting, yelling
2. Physical assault, intentional causing of physical harm, intimidation of others
3. Providing opinions, expressing ideas based on race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, or gender identity
4. Any form of sexually charged behavior or conduct
5. In our co-ed changing rooms, being uncovered in designated dressing cabins only
n) Conducting marketing or political activities without prior arrangement throughout the entire Lake Bath area.
o) Being on the full premises of the Lake Bath (except in pools) without flip-flops. If an accident occurs due to this, the responsibility lies with the guest.
p) Using a hairdryer not operated by the bath. We take no responsibility for accidents resulting from the use of hairdryers brought from outside into the bath.
q) Using mobile speakers, amplifiers, or listening to music on mobile phones in a way that disturbs or may disturb other guests. Exceptions are when music service is provided in an organized manner or by the bath operator/partner (pre-announced events, music service part of the bath operation, events organized by the bath, etc.).
If a guest engages in any prohibited activities described in point 14 of the house rules, Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. will immediately exclude them from using the bath premises and bathing without compensation, and the guest is obliged to leave the area upon staff request!
15. In the event of a fire, severe damage incident, evacuation plan due to justified cases, bomb threat, or other extraordinary events, instructions communicated via loudspeaker and bath employees must be followed immediately and without exception. In case of lightning danger, the lake surface and pools must be evacuated immediately upon the lifeguard's instruction. No one is allowed to remain in the pools even at their own risk!
16. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. excludes from its operated baths any person who causes panic or does anything that harasses or offends the community. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. excludes any person without further measures who engages in sexually charged acts or applies physical violence.
17. The pools and lake surface of the Lake Bath must be vacated 15 minutes before closing time! The reason for this is to allow all guests to leave the entire premises by closing time.
18. The complaint book for guests is located at the cash registers.
19. In cases of injury or feeling unwell, a designated first aid place and staff are provided. A form and report must be prepared for the cases.
20. We do not assume responsibility for valuables and cash or items representing material wealth (car keys, mobile phones, bank cards, etc.), except if the guest places their valuables in a secure locker available through a separate service. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. only assumes responsibility for valuables stored here!
21. Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. assumes no responsibility for loss or disappearance of items left unattended (including those left in pool areas, bath premises, corridors, changing rooms, on hangers).
22. Lost items found are reported to the cashier with a log entry.
23. The guest can address their complaint to the Clerk of the Mayor's Office of Nyíregyháza City: 4400 Nyíregyháza, Kossuth Square 1.
