Lake Bath (Tófürdő) Nyíregyháza
This bath is a real jewel box! For almost 100 years, it has been a popular bathing spot for lovers of natural waters, and the guests have given it the name of the Riviera of Sóstó. It’s no wonder, as the Lake Bath was completely renovated in 2019, and its beautiful park areas, built-in pools and the natural Lake Bath are a delight for guests season after season. There is a children’s pool, playground, slides and a beach volleyball court, and in 1930, a silky Tisza sand beach was laid on the shore of the lake. It is interesting to note that since the 1960’s, the lake has also been home to a pool with medicinal water. Due to its special features and panoramic view, it offers a really special relaxation for bathers, while walking along the shore, we can find cosy restaurants and buffets.
