Sóstó – Gyógyfürdők Zrt. informs its esteemed Guests that the Júlia Bath in Nyíregyháza, as well as the wellness section of the Hotel Fürdőház, will be temporarily closed indefinitely starting from October 10, 2022, due to the drastic increase in energy prices.
As of October 1, 2022, the corporate-level gas price has increased nearly sevenfold compared to previous rates, and the price of district heating services has risen from 3,703 HUF/GJ to 59,345 HUF/GJ. The price of electricity has also increased nearly fourfold compared to the previous year. System usage fees related to electricity have also significantly risen. As the autumn-winter heating season approaches, the increased costs are leading to such a drastic rise in expenses that it is impossible to manage them during operations. Therefore, to preserve the Company's operational capacity, we are forced to implement the above-mentioned measures.
In consultation with the Owner Municipality, our Company aims to ensure that the residents of Nyíregyháza and visitors to Nyíregyháza continue to have access to bath and therapeutic services. Therefore, the Aquarius Adventure Bath and the Aquarius Medical Bath will remain open to Guests indefinitely.
Pre-purchased tickets, gift vouchers, and 10- or 15-session passes for the Júlia Bath and the Hotel Fürdőház can be used at the Aquarius Adventure Bath during its opening hours, according to the validity period of the tickets, vouchers, and passes.
Pre-purchased swimming passes for the Júlia Bath can be used at the Aquarius Adventure Bath during its opening hours with an additional entrance fee of 1,000 HUF per visit for bath services. Alternatively, upon the request of the pass owner, the proportional fee for unused sessions will be refunded at our Company's headquarters at 4431 Nyíregyháza, Szódaház utca 18, from Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 15:30.
