Project Introduction
Sóstó-Gyógyfürdők Zrt. submitted an application under the ID number TFC-1.1.2-2017 for the "Kisfaludy Tourism Development Program, Accommodation Development Construction, Hotel Development in Tokaj, Upper Tisza, and Nyírség Priority Tourism Development Area" invitation, titled Quality Development of Hotel Fürdőház, with the EPTK Fair ID number TFC-1-2-2017-2018-00023.
The total eligible cost of the project: 58,689,953 HUF
The support intensity: 70%
Total grant amount: 70% of the total eligible project cost, but not exceeding 41,082,967 HUF (non-refundable grant)
The most important activities to be carried out within the project: Preparatory activities (preparation of construction plans, business plan preparation), implementation of construction investment, utilizing technical supervision services related to this. Procurement of equipment.
Committed Rating: Maintain the 3-star rating of Hotel Fürdőház as part of the project.
Technical and professional commitments: The project contributes to the procurement and sale of local services and special products, retention of regional resources, economic self-sufficiency of local communities, and utilization of cultural traditions and values, supported by cooperation agreements that form part of the business plan. The target groups are well-defined, selected to align with the development, and the planned services and activities have been designed in harmony with the needs of the target groups, as adequately presented in the business plan.
Developments and services that meet the special needs of the target groups are being created:
• To expand hotel services, a bicycle rental option is being created, allowing guests to explore the spa destination and its broader environment or organize further excursions using the well-developed local cycle path network. For this purpose, both children's and adult's touring bicycles have been acquired.
• For guests arriving by bicycle or bringing bicycles to the accommodation, a service point has been established, providing tools for air filling and minor repairs.
• Establishment of a charging station for electric vehicles.
• To serve the health tourism destination, modern dental care is provided in the hotel with the involvement of an external partner.
• We provide a modern complex balneotherapy treatment infrastructure and medical packages to our hotel guests using the AQUARIUS spa complex.
• At Sóstói Horse Club stables, riding and horse riding lessons are available in cooperation with the club.
• In collaboration with the Sóstói Fishing Association, we ensure the possibility of sport fishing in the Sóstó lakes.
• A children's play area and corner will be created on the hotel premises for our guests.
• We prepare a printed tourist program plan for hotel guests, offering guidance on the local tourist attractions, cultural services, events, health tourism, and gastronomic offerings during their stay.
Key elements of the investment:
- Expansion of the hotel restaurant area, creation of associated visitor restroom facilities;
- Renovation of changing rooms and associated restroom facilities;
- Modernization of hotel wellness functions (installation of ventilation for the salt chamber and splash pool area, replacement of floor and pool coatings in the associated pool area);
- Installation of air conditioning units in room units located in the attic of the bathhouse;
- Purchase of children's play equipment and bicycles;
- Installation of an electric charging station;
- Heating modernization (demolition of existing gas boiler, installation of a new gas boiler, with associated mechanical piping, equipment, as per the mechanical design section);
- Modernization of the entrance door
