- Dynamic tape treatment
(Not supported by NEAK, only available with full payment, and only with a medical recommendation)
Mechanism of Action:
Dynamic Tape is a biomechanical tape that represents a new category in sports and therapeutic taping techniques. The tape, which is stretchable in 4 directions, strong, and elastic, absorbs the forces acting on the body, thereby reducing the level of stress. The goal of its application methodology is to modify poorly established movement patterns in a given joint, support the function of weak muscles, and improve joint stability and function. Dynamic Tape is a high-quality, strong, yet soft and breathable tape. After application, it remains on the skin for 1-3 weeks.
Treatment Procedure:
The skin above the joint to be treated must be hairless. Before application, thorough washing with soap is important to reduce skin oiliness. The physiotherapist applies the tape using a specialized taping technique, typically supporting the joint function from multiple directions.
Duration:
Indications:
As a complementary therapy, it is suitable for recurrent shoulder pain, tennis elbow, wrist pain, unstable knee or ankle problems, as well as for heel pain or correcting bunions, which persistently hinder daily activities.
Contraindications:

Possible Side Effects:
skin allergy: burning or itching sensation after application; peeling of the upper layer of the skin in case of excessive tension; minor scarring due to improper removal technique. For effective treatment, please follow the instructions of the physiotherapist and the provided guidelines.
