Lava stone massage

Lava stone massage

Oil-based massage technique, which is performed using heated volcanic stones. These are smooth, flat basalt stones with high iron and magnesium content. Due to their larger crystalline structure, they retain heat well and can release it evenly. The heated stones are carefully pressed into the muscles during the massage. In addition to its beneficial effects, the experience itself is uplifting. The treatment is carried out with special essential oils, thus combining massage and aromatherapy.
Considering that the stones retain high temperatures for a long time, the essential oils penetrate the heated skin much more easily and deeply. The massage primarily fills you with life energy, harmonizes the body and soul, and has an excellent stress-relieving effect. It also improves lymphatic circulation, thereby accelerating detoxification processes. Since the larger stones are placed along the energy centers, they smooth out energy flows and release blockages. It aids detoxification, reduces recurring headaches, improves digestive issues, and alleviates chronic joint pain.

Procedure:

We heat the stones using a special heating device, checking the temperature on our own skin before placing them on the client's body. In a prone position, the client's body surface is oiled with a blend of base oil and essential oil, and the treatment begins with a foot massage. This is followed by smoothing and pressing the muscles along the spine, the lower limbs, and then the upper limbs using stones of various sizes. The stones are continuously alternated to ensure they do not cool down, maintaining the appropriate temperature throughout. Finally, the client turns over, and the lower and upper limbs are treated.
